Nylon magazine has alway appealed to me with its all or nothing edgy, yet feminine styling. I recently discovered Nylon Japan online and there's just something about the way the Japanese style their looks with such confidence and fun!
Adore Atlanta's effortless and edgy style. She always manages to combine the most amazing layers of patterns, textures and colours. I love her playful and dress-up like approach to dressing. And all without looking like she has gone to much trouble at all. Dig it.
So, for a while now, i've been wanting to get back in touch with my creative side as well as my sewing machine. I just have this want to alter a few vintage pieces i've been storing away for my day of D.I.Y.ing. I have a handful of lovely vintage shirts that are screaming out to be played with. I want to try this cut out look. So cute and subtly sexy.
Rachel Comey has become one of my favourite designers. Her fall collection incorporates everything my eye is drawn to: cute patterns, splashes of colour, combinations of textures and materials, asymmetrical cuts and jumpsuits!
