Pot-bellied superheroes smoking cigarettes, nude women with disfigured faces, wicked-looking clowns and a scoundrel named Rodrigo are just some of the eccentric characters that inhabit the paintings of renowned American artist George Condo. 

However weird and wonderful, I love George Condo's works. 

I first came across his work whilst flicking through Mary kate and Ashley's 'Inspiration' book. 

I love the humour, the colour and the Picasso's-isque cubism in all his work.

Unique style, Check.

Bat for Lashes is the work of British singer/ songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and visual artist Natasha Khan. 

I love her ever changing unique style and gnarly film clips. Dare i say it but, I actually prefer you-tubing her songs because i think the video clips add and extra dimension and "oomph" to the listening experience. I think it's so refreshing to see a girl proud to be a little left of centre. 

My favourite clip of hers is most definitely 'Pearl's Dream'. I really enjoy having 'Daniel' on replay though.
